1. Introduction

Pulse: Posts in Your Voice (“Pulse”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by Max Embregts.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

Email address (if provided via Apple Sign-In or other methods)

Social Media Data

  • Facebook Page ID and name
  • Instagram account username

We use Facebook and Instagram data only to connect your accounts, generate content based on your provided social media context, and publish posts that you approve.

Access Tokens

We store access tokens to authenticate your account and publish content on your behalf.

Content You Provide

Uploaded images, captions, and generated posts.

  • Maintain and improve the app

4. Third-Party Services

  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram APIs)
  • OpenAI
  • Cloudinary
  • Vercel
  • Neon / PostgreSQL (via Prisma)

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

6. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data directly in the app by going to Settings and selecting Delete Account.

Deleting your account removes the personal data associated with your Pulse account, including connected social accounts, uploaded content, and generated posts, subject to any legal or operational retention requirements.

You may also remove Pulse from your Facebook or Instagram account settings at any time. This will revoke the app’s ability to publish new content on your behalf. Removing the app does not automatically delete data stored by Pulse. To fully delete your Pulse account and associated data, use the in-app delete account option in Settings.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

  • Request access to your data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Disconnect your social accounts at any time

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time.
